We’re excited to share that the Polish music portal KFM.net.pl has published an in-depth piece about AGE CONNECT & ROCKAWAY titled “AGE CONNECT & ROCKAWAY – taneczny projekt, który nie zamierza się zatrzymać” (“a dance project that doesn’t intend to stop”).
🔍 Highlights from the Article
The article traces the origins of the project: starting in 1984 in Wuppertal with brothers Peter & Thomas Surray and guitarist Frank Treppmann, later re-activated in 2021 with the addition of Polish guitarist Tomasz Łabanowski and, in 2023, the producer / vocalist ROCKAWAY.
It places their sound in the realm of dance-pop with echoes of the ’80s and ’90s — but modernised for today’s audience.
Their recent singles such as “Good Times” and “Disco Knights (Dance Mix)” are cited as proof of their growing success and consistent quality.
The article hints at a full-length album on the horizon and emphasises the band’s mission: to create positive, danceable music that simply invites you to move and forget everyday worries.
🙏 Thank You
We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to KFM.net.pl and author Karolina Filarczyk for this feature. Recognition like this encourages us to push further and remind everyone what we believe in: joy, music, and movement.
With gratitude,
The AGE CONNECT & ROCKAWAY Team
